Frank Vettese

Frank Vettese formerly served as Deloitte Canada’s Managing Partner and Chief Executive, leading the largest professional services firm in Canada and Chile. He was also a member of Deloitte’s Global Executive. Under  Vettese’s leadership, Deloitte sought to be the most trusted business advisor in Canada, working closely with business, academia, government, and civil society to tackle the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the country. Vettese led a significant transformation of the firm, expanding into new areas of capabilities and services including digital, analytics, cyber, artificial intelligence, economics, as well as increasing Deloitte’s research and thought leadership capacity through the Future of Canada Centre, with a major focus on the long-term prosperity of the country.

Recognized by the United Nations and Catalyst Canada for his commitment to the advancement and empowerment of women in the workplace, Vettese has been a long-standing champion for inclusion and diversity. He is the co-founder of the Canadian Women’s Initiative and continues to be a strong proponent of the sponsorship of next generation women into leadership positions. Additionally, Vettese served as Chief Inclusion Officer for Deloitte Canada.

Vettese’s leadership goes beyond his professional career, as an active member of various community boards. His professional and community service includes currently serving as a member of the Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year Advisory Board, co-Chair of the David Cornfield Melanoma Fund, director on the Board of Royal Bank of Canada, board member of the Rideau Hall Foundation, member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Schulich School of Business, and previously served as Trustee of the International Valuation Standards Council, member of Catalyst Canada’s Advisory Board and co-Chair of the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Ball.

Deeply involved in educating future leaders, he is also an accomplished lecturer for universities and professional associations. Vettese holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University Schulich School of Business, a Master of Business Administration.

Vettese joined the SickKids Board of Trustees in 2018.
