What to Expect During Your Visit
Your appointment can take up to two hours to complete.
After registration, you will be asked to have a seat in the waiting room. If your child requires a hearing test before seeing the doctor, an audiologist will come and get you. When it is time for your appointment you and your child will be brought to an examination room where you may be seen by a registered nurse, medical student, or resident before seeing the staff doctor.
Your infant may be weighed. Your child may need help sitting still when the doctor looks inside his ears, nose and throat. The Flow Coordinator can help with this.
Please be aware that your child’s appointment could be cancelled even up to the day of your appointment. Occasionally the doctors are called away from the clinic to deal with emergencies. If this happens, your appointment may be delayed.
Please remember to book your next follow up appointment at the registration desk before leaving the clinic.
