SickKids will help vaccinate youngest community health heroes at Toronto Kids Vaccine Day

Summary:

Team Toronto is deploying vaccinators from SickKids and Toronto Public Health to make Toronto Kids Vaccine Day a success.

On Sunday, December 12, thousands of Toronto’s youngest community health superheroes will receive their COVID-19 vaccine at Scotiabank Arena as part of Toronto Kids Vaccine Day. During this superhero-themed special event, physicians from The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) will be available to speak with children and caregivers about vaccines and provide child-friendly experiences for vaccination.

Thanks to Team Toronto’s partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) and Scotiabank, there will be music, entertainment and giveaways throughout the day. Team Toronto, led by SickKids, University Health Network (UHN), Michael Garron Hospital and Toronto Public Health, is working hard to make the day a fun, positive experience for children and caregivers.

Caregivers can book an appointment for their children through the provincial COVID-19 vaccine booking page.
