Biography
Dr. Corry Azzopardi joined SickKids in 2002 as a Social Worker with the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Program, Division of Paediatric Medicine. She is currently a Health Systems Research Scientist, with a clinical research portfolio concentrated in child maltreatment.
Azzopardi also holds an Assistant Professor Status-Only appointment at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto, where she teaches social work practice courses to graduate students.
Research
Azzopardi's grant-funded program of research examines intersecting dimensions of violence against children using mixed methods of inquiry through a social justice lens.
