Biography

Dr. Sundeep Bola completed his undergraduate studies in physiology at McGill University. He went on to complete his medical school studies at the University of Western Ontario, Schulich School of Medicine. Following this, he completed his paediatric residency training, respiratory medicine sub-specialty training, paediatric sleep medicine training and paediatric lung transplant medicine training at the University of Toronto, The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Prior to returning to SickKids, Dr. Bola established a large community based paediatric sleep medicine program. He is now a full time staff physician in the Division of Respiratory Medicine at SickKids.

Research

As a new faculty member at SickKids, Dr. Bola is eager to pursue research projects with a focus on the practical management of paediatric sleep disordered breathing and on assessing and establishing modes to deliver this highly specialized care to the many children in our community who face challenges accessing paediatric sleep medicine care. His research goals are informed by a career of serving children in a community setting.
