Biography

Dr. Linh Ly is a neonatologist with expertise in neonatal follow-up. She joined the Division of Neonatology at SickKids in 2008 as staff neonatologist and was appointed Medical Director of the Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Follow-Up Clinic in 2009 and Medical Director of the NICU in 2018. She leads and collaborates on a number of clinical and research initiatives focused on optimizing the care and outcome of the critically ill newborn.

Research

The focus of Ly’s research is neurodevelopmental outcomes of neonates with acquired brain injury, complex congenital heart disease or complex medical needs. She collaborates on a number of projects that involve a multi-disciplinary approach to help enhance our understanding of the determinants that contribute to neurodevelopmental outcomes.
