Rebecca Williams

Rebecca Williams started her nursing career at SickKids as a new graduate Registered Nurse (RN) on the Haematology/Oncology (8A) inpatient ward. During her time on 8A she was elected to represent her unit on the hospital wide RN council.

She returned school in 2010 to get her Masters in Nursing and become a Paediatric Nurse Pracititioner at the University of Toronto. From her experiences working on 8A she found her passion in paediatric palliative care. In 2012 she joined the Paediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT) at SickKids as a Nurse Practitioner.

In 2015 she was hired into a new role on the PACT team as the Outreach Nurse Practitioner. A role that focused on transitions to home for end of life and caring for kids who were at Emily's House Paediatric Hospice for end of life. In this role she provides support, education and guidance to families and their care teams supporting them in the community.
