Biography
Dr. Julie Yu completed her residency training in Anesthesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, and her pediatric anesthesia fellowship at SickKids. She has previously worked as an anesthesiologist in London Health Sciences Centre, and at Timmins General Hospital, prior to her present appointment with the University of Toronto. She joined SickKids as a full-time staff physician in 2022.
Research
Dr. Yu has a passion for clinical informatics and how it is transforming medical practice, particularly in how physicians are educated in informatics competencies, how clinical decision support tools are assessed, developed, and promote improved patient outcomes, and how technological tools influence clinical professional development.
