Biography

Dr. Koyelle Papneja is a pediatric cardiologist specializing in fetal cardiology and echocardiography. She is also the Director of the SickKids Cardiology Consultation Service. 

Prior to joining SickKids in 2024, Dr. Papneja served on the faculty at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. There, she was the Director of the UCLA Pediatric Cardiology Inpatient Service, as well as the Program Director of the UCLA Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship. Prior to that, she served on the Stanford University School of Medicine faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology.

She completed her advanced fellowship training in pediatric echocardiography at Stanford University in 2020. In 2019, she completed her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at SickKids.

Dr. Papneja’s interests lie in fetal echocardiography, prenatal management of congenital heart disease, and single ventricle defects.
